Kitty Cats AnonymousJust got done with my first shift at the campus cat shelter X3 They say morning shift is the toughest, and I believe them @.@ We (me and one of the other volunteers who has been volunteering for 2-ish years) spent about 2-2.5 hours cleaning litterboxes, checking cages, filling food dishes, cleaning water dishes, sweeping, doing laundry and giving the cats wet food X.x (It was like a zombie movie when I walked in and the cats wanted wet food, and I didn't know where to get it DX )
But those cats are just too dern friendly
Granted there's a fair amount of ferals at the shelter (Barbie, I'm looking at you D< ) and some of them are overly friendly, (Mia, I swear I don't taste good, stop licking me) but it was still a lot of fun, especially getting to play with the cats after all the work got done. I'm already looking forward to next week, and hopefully I can get lucky with class/enterprise times and be able to keep helping out P.S. I'm taking pictures of all the cats (Over 70
) And I'm going to slowly upload them to D.A. as I remember their names
